Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 May 2026.

DoorFox Garage Doors is operated by JR Digital Services Pty Ltd (ABN 15 677 761 787) and we comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what personal information we collect through doorfox.com.au, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect

When you use the quote form or contact us, we collect: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the service you’ve requested, and any free-text details you provide about your garage door (brand, symptom, scope, photos).

We also collect technical information automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps — used for spam protection, analytics, and continuous improvement of the site.

Tracking technologies

doorfox.com.au uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to measure how visitors use the site (page views, button clicks, form submits, phone clicks). Cookies set by these tools are used to associate page views into a session and to attribute traffic sources. We may also load remarketing pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, LinkedIn Insight Tag) via GTM if and when those campaigns are active. Cloudflare Web Analytics is also enabled — it is cookieless and does not collect any personal information.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using a privacy-respecting browser configuration. To request that we suppress tracking on your specific contact record, email quotes@doorfox.com.au.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

  • To respond to your enquiry. Your contact details and quote scope are forwarded to the local Adelaide garage door technician matched to your suburb. They use the details to call you, organise a measure or call-out, and produce a written quote.
  • To match you to the right operator. Suburb is the routing key — it determines which technician receives your enquiry.
  • To follow up if you don’t hear back. If the operator hasn’t been in touch within one business day and you email us, we use your enquiry record to chase the matter up.
  • To improve the site. Aggregated, de-identified analytics shape what we publish, what services we expand, and which suburbs we work to cover better.
  • To meet legal obligations. If we’re legally required to disclose information (e.g. by court order or police request under valid warrant), we will — and we’ll resist over-broad requests.

Who we share it with

  • The matched Adelaide garage door technician (one operator per enquiry — never a rival panel).
  • Our IT and analytics service providers (Cloudflare, Google, GoHighLevel) under standard data-processing terms.
  • No-one else. We do not sell, trade, syndicate, or rent your personal information to any third party.

Where it’s stored

Enquiry records are stored in our customer-relationship system (GoHighLevel, hosted in the United States under standard contractual safeguards) and in our analytics backend (Google Analytics, with default 14-month retention). Email correspondence is held in our Google Workspace mailbox (also US-hosted under standard contractual clauses).

Data retention

Enquiry records are retained for as long as the operator relationship is live (typically 12-36 months from last contact) and then archived. GA4 user-level data is retained for 14 months by default. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing quotes@doorfox.com.au.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct any information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Withdraw consent for analytics tracking (we’ll suppress GA4 collection on your contact record).
  • Complain if you believe we’ve mishandled your information. The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) is the regulator: oaic.gov.au.

To exercise any of these rights, email quotes@doorfox.com.au. We respond to privacy requests within 14 days.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses functional cookies (session, security, preferences) and analytics cookies (GA4). No advertising cookies are set unless and until we activate a paid-media campaign, at which point this policy will be updated to reflect what’s set.

Updates to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 14 days.
